Yingxiang Li

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at the University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business. I am on the 2023-2024 academic job market.

My main research interests are in financial intermediation, corporate finance, private equity, and entrepreneurial finance. My ongoing work studies frictions and trade-offs in financial intermediation within private equity markets, covering topics such as funding shocks, illiquidity, agency costs, and the role of financial regulation in incentive alignment.  My research has been invited for presentation at policy and regulation institutions including the Federal Reserve Board and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
